This policy covers the Sector Chakra Android app and the web boards it displays: the India boards (Nifty 50, F&O Sectors, RRG, Rollover, PCR and 44 EMA) and the US boards (Heatmap, RRG, 44 EMA and PCR). The short version: the app has no accounts, no ads and no analytics, and the developer does not collect any personal information about you.
Nothing. The app does not ask for your name, email, phone number, location, contacts or any other personal information, and it does not use advertising IDs, analytics, crash reporting or tracking tools. The developer receives no data about you or how you use the app.
The app shows web pages, so loading a board makes ordinary internet requests to two services:
Like any website, these services receive your IP address and basic device and browser details (the app identifies itself as “SectorChakraApp”), and they may keep standard server logs under their own policies: GitHub Privacy Statement, Google Privacy Policy. The developer does not receive or have access to those logs.
Android’s web view keeps a normal cache of the pages so they load faster. It stays on your device. Clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling the app removes it. The boards set no cookies of their own.
Tapping a stock opens its page in your browser: the National Stock Exchange of India website for Indian stocks, Yahoo Finance for US ones. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you are there.
A paid “Pro” tier is planned but does not exist yet. Nothing can be bought in the app today. If Pro ever needs sign-in or payment details, this policy will be updated to say exactly what is collected and why before any such information is collected, and payments would be handled by Google Play, not by the developer.
The app is a market-data tool meant for adults and is not directed at children under 18.
Market data comes from public sources and may be delayed or inaccurate. The app is for information only. It is not investment advice, and not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
